Jose T. “Pepe” Resendez, 80, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, at his residence.

Jose was born September 11, 1939 in Matamoros, Mexico, to parents; Liborio Resendez and Maria Tristan. He resided in the Baytown area for the past 44 years.  He was a pipe insulator by trade and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  He also enjoyed fishing, barbecues, Astros baseball, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Resendez was preceded in death by his parents and brother:  Liborio Resendez.  He is survived by his wife Maria Lopez, Son Jose Resendez, Son Carlos Resendez and wife Mary, daughter Maria Rivera and husband Henry, Daughter Maria Diaz and husband Enrique, brother Juan Moreno, grandchildren:  Jonathan, Gabriela, Nataly, Samantha, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Patrick, Ryan, Victoria, and Aundrea, great-grandchildren Sophia, Isabella, Julian and Veronica, Penelope and numerous other relatives, and friends.
