Jose Parra

With a heavy heart, we must share that Jose Bruno Parra has gone to be with our Lord in heaven.  "El jefe" left us on February 26, 2024, to be at rest and joined his parents Teodulo Parra and Maria Parra.   

Born of humble beginnings in Parral, he was the 5th child of 12 brothers and sisters.  He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, undeniable charisma, positive outlook, infectious smile, and many deeds of mischief.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. 

He leaves behind his lovely wife of 50 years, Maria Parra, children Blanca and Jose Roberto, grandchildren Marissa and Abram, and great-grandson Antonio, along with brothers Jesus Isabel, and Jesus David, sisters Juanita, Soledad, Lucia, Carmen and Maria Teresa.  

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Crespo and Jirrels Funeral home in Baytown, TX from 5-8 pm. Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby, TX with internment immediately following at Sterling White Cemetery in Highlands, Texas.
