John Dewey Trapp

John Dewey Trapp, 58, of Highlands, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Muscat, Oman.

John was born December 2, 1960 in Barstow, California, to parents; Charles and Christy Robey Trapp, and has been a resident of Highlands for the past 17 years.  He was a graduate of Lufkin High School, a journeyman electrician for the Xator Corporation, and Baptist by faith.  He also enjoyed fishing, working on cars, Astros games, going to the beach, and his fur babies.

Mr. Trapp was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 25 years:  Michelle Briscoe Trapp, daughter:  Courtney Orosco and husband David, sons:  Thomas Trapp, Joshua Trapp, and Jared Trapp, brothers:  Steve Trapp and wife Kathy and Gary Trapp and wife Claudia, sisters-in-law:  Helen Briscoe and Monica Bennett and husband Chance, grandchildren:  Brandon and Heaven Trapp and Baby Orosco on the way, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown, with reception following services.
