Joe Paul Eaton, 60, of Goodrich, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, in Kingwood.

Joe was born July 31, 1957 in Baytown, to parents; William Joel Eaton and Betty Pennington, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Goodrich for the past ten years.  He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a salesman by trade.  Joe also enjoyed fishing, and sports.

Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by his father:  William J. Eaton and stepfather:  George W. Coker.  He is survived by his sons:  William Eaton, Christopher Eaton and wife Cassandra, and Dustin Eaton and wife Cari, his mother:  Betty Pennington Coker, sisters:  Sherry Crochet and husband Mark and Terri Bogie and husband Mike, brothers:  Curtis Eaton and wife Kathryn, Wayne Coker and wife Sterlie, and Greg Coker, grandchildren:  Skylar L. Newton, Roslyn R. Eaton, Ireland E. Eaton, Dacey L. Eaton, Jesse P. Eaton, Ashlyn A. Eaton, and Troy E. Duvall, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.
