She moved to Texas at an early age and grew up in the areas of San Antonio and Houston. She raised her family in Baytown.
Joanna loved fishing, playing baseball, and bowling on various leagues for over 30 years. She was an artist at heart. She found the most joy in teaching children about the love of Jesus at her church, Second Baytown. She genuinely loved every child she met as if they were her own. She loved being a “Mimi” to her grandchildren and was a friend to everyone. Her energizing personality was unmatched and made a lasting impression on all who knew her.
