Jerry Alton Eppler

Jerry A. “Papa” Eppler, 78, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Baytown.

Jerry was born June 16, 1943 in Houston, to parents; Marlin and Louise Eddington Eppler, and has resided in Baytown for the past 50 years.  He was a graduate of the Corsicana High school class of 1961, attended Lee College, and was a retired superintendent in the construction industry.  Jerry was a member of Memorial Baptist and will be remembered as a jack of all trades, master of none.

Mr. Eppler was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife:  Martha English Eppler, sons:  Greg Eppler and wife Teresa and Gary Eppler and wife Carla, brother:  Travis Eppler and wife Kathaleen, grandchildren:  Chelsea Eppler and partner JoAnne, Andrew Eppler and wife Madeline, and Celeste Eppler, great-grandchild:  Eli Eppler, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
