Jason Dunlap Brown, 37, of Baytown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Jason was born to Clevelon Brown and Patricia Cleaveland on November 29, 1980, in Texas City. He was Lead Instrument Technician with Lubrizol. Jason was passionate about his job and always eager to learn new things. He also enjoyed playing sports with his son, dancing with his daughters, playing golf, barbecuing his famous bbq ribs, listening to music, and traveling. Jason’s most precious memories were made with family and friends. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Clevelon Brown; grandmothers, Mary Young, and Catherine Bennett; and step-father, Everett Cleaveland. He was survived by his wife of thirteen years, Perla Brown; Children, Brianna Brown, Jason Brown Jr., and Alyssa Brown; mother, Patty Cleveland; and grandfather Roger Young; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will welcome friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at the Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
