Jaime Lopez, 42, of Baytown, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
Jaime was born August 26, 1978 in Galveston, to parents, Juan and Maria Elizabeth Lopez. He has resided in Baytown for the majority of his life and loved his community. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, received his Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and worked for GCCISD for over fifteen years. He began his career as an Elementary School Teacher and later became a PE Teacher. He was an amateur boxer with over one hundred boxing fights and a professional boxer with an excellent record. His hobbies included being a boxing coach, mentoring children, spending time with family and cooking for them, playing video games with his son, going on adventures with his fiancé and enjoying time with his close friends.
Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by grandparents: Pedro Lopez, Jose and Juanita Saenz. He is survived by his fiancé: Tamarah Earthman, son: Max Lopez, parents: Juan and Maria Elizabeth Lopez, sister: Lorene Lee Lopez, brother: Juan Aaron Lopez, nephew and godson: Chrome Salazar, grandmother: Tomasa Lopez, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
