Jacob went home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the age of 23.
Jacob was born to Francisco and Michelle Thomas del Campo on May 4,1997 in Houston, Texas and has been a lifelong resident of the Baytown/Beach City area. He was a graduate of Barbers Hill High School class of 2015, studied Instrumentation at Lee College, and was a member of the Old River-Winfree Volunteer Fire Department and Faith Family Church. Jacob treasured spending time with his family and friends. He never hesitated to communicate his love for them. Jacob cherished his momma, was a protector of his sister, and was so proud of his dad. His gift and passion were singing but he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Jacob had a heart that was seeking the Lord. He was never ashamed to speak of his love for Jesus and the sweetness that came with rejoicing in Him. Jacob has been described as “respectful, witty, entertaining, kind, soft, uplifting, loving and helpful to anyone needing it” by those that knew him. His ability to create laughter was effortless. He brought joy and happiness to everyone he touched and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his infectious smile, his loving, compassionate heart, and his ability to uplift and encourage others to seek and find comfort in our Lord.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents: Wilfredo Antonio del Campo, Nieves del Campo, and Rosie Thomas. He is survived by his mother: Michelle Thomas del Campo, father: Francisco del Campo, stepmother: Tammy del Campo, sister: Alyssa del Campo, stepsister: Brooke Bordeau, grandfather: Karl Thomas, best fur friend: Remi, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
