To Henry's Family:
Gee time flies, I remember being in Jr. High, & High School with Henry, I will admit he was a mess of fun foolishness. Just face booked with him a week or so ago about my grand daughter, he knew her deceased father, a small world. Saw him a couple of times when he came to the Lovelady Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament, as other functions,. R.I.P Henry, you are going to be missed a whole lot. To my very good friend Henry, family and friends.

Our friend has departed physcally but will remain in our hearts and minds forevever. His steadfast loyalty to all who admired, respected and loved him will never be forgotten. Having been in his story at Sam Houston State from the start to the finish. I can testify to the courage and tenacity of a young man determined to suceed. He was too small and too slow to play college ball. I admit to suggesting he go to a Jr college for two years. He told me "Coach I am going to play here". Soon injuries forced me to put him in a game. After reviewing the film. Henry was rhe starter at his position from then on. He displayed the same determination the rest of his life. I feel honored and humbled to be counted a friend.

His get togethers for teammates and friends became one of the high points of my life..
I believe we will have more someday, and he will be there..

Henry was a year older than me and we were first cousins. It was always good to see and catch up with him at family gatherings, reunions and funerals.
I wish all of the family peace and comfort during this difficult time. May your memories of him always keep you close company.

My husband, Phillip, went to REL with Henry. He has many great memories of him.
I was a transplant 45 years ago to their group. I was always happy when we could sit at Henry's table,. He was an entertainer who never saw a stranger. He made others laugh and leave with a smile on their faces. My last memory of him was at the Beverly Rockhold Memorial. The monument was a list of all american track members. As pictures were being made.....Henry stepped up, stuck a yellow post it with his name on it....and said, "Take my picture, Boys".with that Henry smile and cockiness. Life will be dull without you, Henry. I always admired how he loved his daughters. We am so sorry for all of you...

Such an amazing man. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Adair always gave you a big smile, hug, and time to catch up with you when you ran into him around town. You could always find him cheering on the Eagles at all sporting events. My prayers for his family.

Mr. Adair was one-of-a-kind! He was truly sincere, caring and loving! He loved his girls and his family. He was so proud of his girls and shared what they were doing and stories about them each time I saw him. He loved the Barbers Hill community and its sports teams. He loved to tell stories and reminisce about days gone by. Every single time we ran into each other we talked about a mutual friend and rehashed old stories and good memories. He was such a genuine man who truly cared about others. Mr. Adair was always there to give people advice because he truly cared about them. The Barbers Hill community has lost a legend and a pillar. You will me missed Mr. Adair. Thank you for always truly caring about Barbers Hill and my family. We appreciated you more than you probably ever knew. I'll miss the times we ran into each other in town, the laughter and the stories you shared. Bless you and your family during this difficult time. However, please know that Mr. Adair's love and commitment to the Barbers Hill family will live on in the lives he touched and enriched in so many ways. Rest In Peace my friend.
