Harold Lloyd Bird

Harold Lloyd Bird, Jr., 66, of Crosby, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, in Houston.

Harold was born November 25, 1954 in Cameron, to parents; Harold L., Sr. and Wanda Faye Winsett Bird, and has resided in Crosby for the past 22 years.  He was a graduate of high school and attended college in Greenville and was a crane operator by trade.  Harold also enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and gardening.

Mr. Bird was preceded in death by his father and son:  Shaae Bird.  He is survived by his companion:  Blanca Nubia Hidalgo Gutierrez, mother:  Faye Winsett Bird, brother: David Bird and wife Jana, daughter-n-law:  Jaime Bird, grandchildren:  Payton Bird and Parker Owen Bird, niece:  Heather “Nicole” Fogarty and Holli Meno, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.  Memorial graveside services will be held at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
