Geraldine L Williams

Geraldine peacefully passed away on the 27th of March, 2024. She was affectionately called Jeri. She was the daughter and only child of Josephine Faldik and Louis Komarek.  Married to James L. Williams Jr for 35 years, they lived in various states and countries throughout the years. For the past 5 years, she resided at St. James Nursing Home.  We would like to thank all the staff members and her gracious caregivers for their care and conversations that kept her spirits up and also for the support of the Hospice team. She will always be remembered for all the cards she sent on our Birthdays, Anniversaries, and all the calls she made to us.  She was never judgmental and very supportive. Offering us advice and telling us about her life, we loved being around her. She enjoyed reading mysteries and biographies and the Bible; she really liked the Old Testament stories. She was very good at crossword puzzles and word games.  Although, never learning to drive in her 89 years of life, she always seemed to get just where she wanted to go.  We loved her so very much and she will be sorely missed. 

She was preceded in death by her husband James L Williams Jr and her son James L Williams III.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie L. Hawks and husband Mitchell, her son, Donald R. Williams and wife Alice, and daughter-in-law Deanna Williams. Also, her grandchildren, Dana Kubik and husband Josh, Trina Hawks and Jeff, Katie Ginn and husband Parker, Theresa Geters and husband Doug, Donald Williams, Joel Williams and wife Candice, David Williams and wife Nicole, Hope Williams, Matthew Williams and wife Haley, special great-grandchildren, Zander Crooks, Aiden and Aubrey Kubik, Coleman Ginn, Audree and Emilee Williams, Ivy Lee and James Williams, Stevie James and Lola and Cash Williams. Andrew Williams and Dion Merchant and Kaitlyn and Penelope Geters.  

To honor Jeri’s memory, the family will hold a private celebration of life. Jeri, we will see you again one day soon in heaven!
