George Luther Christensen, 77, of Mont Belvieu, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in Baytown.

George was born January 10, 1940 in Washington DC, to parents; Wilford M. Christensen, Sr. and Lorraine Floyd, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in the Mont Belvieu for the past 13 years.  He was a retired co-owner of Alloyed Tubular Products and B & C Fasteners.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and in the later years traveling in his motor home and playing poker.

Mr. Christensen was preceded in death by his father:  Wilford M. Christensen, mother:  Lorraine Floyd Christensen, and daughter:  Suzanne Armstong.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years:  Lois Hatfield Christensen of Mont Belvieu, daughter:  Karen Reeves and life partner Hocky Clarke of Moscow, son:  Ron Christensen and wife Jodie of Cove, brother:  Willie Christensen and wife Darlene of Pennsylvania, grandchildren:  D. G. Reeves and wife Ashley of Rockwall, Melissa Christensen of Houston, Kara Reeves and wife Sarah O’Brien of San Antonio, Brooke Jacobs of Katy and Katie Boles of Cove.  Great-grandchildren:  Ambry Reeves, Gentri Reeves, Bella Christensen, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services are under the direction of Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services in Baytown.
