Gary Wayne “Papa” Climie, 75, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in Houston.

Gary was born February 1, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan, to parents; Allan and Eleanor Pillars Climie, a former resident of Michigan, and has resided in Baytown for the past 50 years.  He was a graduate of Central High School, a shipping and receiving manager in the construction field, and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  Gary also enjoyed fishing, flying drones, wood working, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Climie was preceded in death by his parents and sister:  Teresa Birnman.  He is survived by his wife:  Sharon Lee Kozma Climie, son:  Bill Climie, daughter:  Jessica Climie and husband Terry Farr, sister:  Yvonne Randall, grandchildren:  Clay Booth, Skyler Farr, Samantha Farr, Evalynn Farr, Serenae Farr, Caspian Farr, and Daemon Farr, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
