Frances "Granna" Bryan Jones

Frances “Granna” Bryan Jones, 79, of Crosby, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her residence.

Frances was born August 4, 1944 in Baytown, to parents; Albert, Sr. and Ruby Haskett Bryan, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Crosby for the past 10 years.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, attended Lee College, member of Highlands Baptist Church, and a retired physical therapy and rehabilitation technician.  Frances also enjoyed shopping, cruises, and other travels.  She will be remembered as a caring loving member of the community; she always had an open door and a mother’s care for her neighborhood.

Mrs. Bryan Jones was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years:  Duke Herbert Jones, and siblings:  Wesley Leon Bryan and Marilyn “Joy” Sue Bryan.  She is survived by her daughter:  Kimberly J. Smith and husband Edward, son:  Duke Wayne Jones and wife Lori, brother:  Albert “Sonny” Bryan, Jr., sisters:  Kathryn Kohler and Shirley Galindo, grandchildren:  Duke “DJ” Wesley Jones and companion Emily, Morgan Nicole Riley and husband Cody, and Dalton Miller and fiancé Amanda, great-grandchildren:  Kyleigh, Elaina, Mallory, and Leighton “Monkey”, special adopted daughter:  Kenya Moses, special friends:  Bridgette Fregia, Betty Saenz, and Brenda Wells, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
