Fernando Armenta, 59, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, in Houston.
Fernando was born June 27, 1961 in San Felipe Guanajuato Mexico, to parents; Rafael Armenta and Julia Venegas, and has resided in Baytown for the past 32 years. He was a carpenter by trade and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Fernando also enjoyed playing poker, the loteria, music, and spending time playing at the slot machines.
Mr. Armenta has been reunited with his beloved father, Rafael, and sister, Silvia Armenta. He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Barbara Armenta, children: Karina Armenta, Carla Armenta, Fernando Armenta, Jr., and Alejandra Armenta, mother: Julia Armenta, siblings: Jesus, Virginia, Antonio, Luisa, Gerardo, Juvencio, Eva, Raul, Celia, Rafael, and Sergio Armenta, grandchildren: Anthony F. Rodriguez, Alex G. Armenta, and Abigail Rodriguez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 6:30 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
