Eunice Ann Henscey

Eunice Ann Henscey, 56, of Mont Belvieu, passed away, January 29, 2020, with her loving family by her side. She fought the fight against COPD and emphysema. She was born on September 16, 1963 in Baytown, Texas to parents, Dannie Lee and Charlotte Henscey.

Ann, as everyone knew her, loved gardening and yard work. If it would get her out of the house and in the great outdoors, she loved it. She especially found joy in playing with her grandchildren and watching her children play sports as they grew up. Her family was the most important to her. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Ann will be missed by all that knew her but the love she shared to all and the memories made will last forever.

Ann was preceded in death by her father, Dannie Lee Henscey. She is survived by her mother and best friend, Charlotte Henscey; Sons, Dwain Gilbert and wife, Alicia, Bryan Gilbert and wife, Amy; daughter, Elaine Gilbert; sisters, Julie Deville and husband, Freddy, Melinda Broussard and husband, Wayland; brother, Wayne Henscey and wife, Trudy; grandchildren, Emmi, Gilbert, Brooks Gilbert, and Grant Gilbert; boyfriend, Scott Van Ness; nephews, Colby and Chase; and nieces, Camryn Henscey and Taylor Broussard; much loved aunt, Jean Owens; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to Karen Moore, Donna Barber, Angela Moore, Tara Moore, and Brittney Owens for their extra special love and support over the past few weeks.

Ann’s Visitation will begin at 12 PM on Friday, January 31 in the chapel of Crespo & Jirrels funeral home. Her funeral service will begin at 1 PM, followed by her interment at Cedarcrest cemetery.
