Eluterio “Teo” Perez, 76, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in Baytown.
Eluterio was born September 7, 1944 in Sugarland, to parents; Atanacio and Brijida Perez, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Baytown for the past 52 years. He was a foreman for Harris County Parks & Recreation and member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
He enjoyed watching the Houston Astros, watching a good Cowboy movie (John Wayne), caring for his yard, and especially spending time with his family.
Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Julian and Johnny Perez, and sister: Isabel Soza. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Leonilda “Nonie” Lopez Perez, children: Simon Perez and wife Laura, Sally Perez and companion Robert Vasquez, Crystal Perez and companion Tony Alvarado, and Raymond Salazar, brother: Bobby Perez and wife Elma, sisters: Rosie Perez and Gloria Padilla, grandchildren: Joshua Sorola, Jada Leal, Grace Perez, Jalissa Alvarado, Jaeligh Alvarado, Janine Alvarado, Stephen Salazar, Stephanie Salazar, and Sara Salazar, great-grandchild: Joshua “JJ” Sorola, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services, Wednesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
