Ella Mae Rhoden

Ella Mae Wehring Rhoden, 96, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, in Baytown.

Ella was born January 20, 1924 in Brenham, to parents; Ben and Sophie Schultz Wehring, a former resident of Alvin, and has resided in Baytown for the past 67 years.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, her dogs, and her birds.

Mrs. Rhoden was preceded in death by her parents, husband:  Lloyd G. Rhoden, sons:  James Sparks and L.G. Rhoden, and brother:  Herbert Wehring.  She is survived by her son:  Harry Sparks and wife Addie, daughter:  Barbara Pugh and husband Craig, daughters-in-law:  Patty Rhoden and Sharon Sparks, grandchildren:  Rusty Sparks, Gary Sparks, Kristi Reyna, Amber Ibarra, Brooke Oliver, James Sparks, and Kim, great-grandchildren:  Robert, Dylon, David, Dalton, Tyce, Case, Lucas, Pierro, Tyler, Chloe, Trista, Zachary, Patty, and Abraham, numerous other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown.

Due to the present Covid19 protocols, anyone wishing to come to the cemetery for services must remain in their vehicles, except for the chosen immediate family members to attend.
