Efrain Lucatero-Loza, 52, of Baytown, passed away at his residence on July 11, 2020. He was born on June 20, 1968 in Jalisco, Mexico to parents Rodolfo Lucatero and Luz Maria Loza Lucatero.
Efrain was self-employed and had been for the last 15 years while he tended to the daily operation of his business, Insulator Thermal P&I Services Inc. There was no doubt about the fact that Efrain was a hard worker. If he wasn’t making sure his business succeeded, he was buying and flipping houses or fixing trucks of any kind. He was also a great cook and hosted most of the family holidays functions. Family always looked forward to the meals. Efrain loved spending time in the vegetable garden and feeding his animals. He was also a loving caregiver to his parents and always made sure they had what the needed. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially the grandkids. Efrain had a loving giving heart and will be missed.
Efrain was preceded in death by his son, Efrain Lucatero Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Crystal Lucatero and husband, John Cabrera, Steven Lucatero, Rebecca Hopkins and husband, Darren, Caroline Lucatero, Luz Maria Lucatero, and Adolfo Rene Lucatero; grandchildren, Aidan Cabrera, Makayla Cabrera, Bailey Hopkins, and Avery Mia Lucatero; siblings, Leticia Valencia, Jorge Lucatero, Raquel Valencia, Luz Maria Ochoa, Consuelo Nelida Lucatero, Rodolfo Lucatero, Rosa Alicia Torres, Yellme Noemi Lucatero, Jose Lucatero, Carlos Eduardo Lucatero, Anai Lucatero, Angel Alejandro Lucatero, as well as numerous other family and friend.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 6:30 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown.
