Edward David O'Neil

Edward David O’Neil, 56, of Baytown, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Baytown. Edward was born November 3, 1966 in Corpus Christi, to parents; Edward David Harvey and Patricia O’Neil and has resided in Baytown for the past 39 years.

He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, attended Lee College, and was an electrician by trade. Edward also enjoyed fishing and mechanics.  

Mr. O’Neil was preceded in death by his father: Edward D. Harvey Sr , Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather: Viola Mae Hutchinson and Robert Hutchinson, Grandmother and Grandfather: Celia Mae Lewis and James O’Neal, Brother: DeVern Harvey, Uncle: Clarence Harvey , Son: Quinton D. Jones (Duck), Brothers: Larry , Willis and Gary Thompson, Aunt: Yvonne Johnson, Uncle: Buddy Tillman , Cousin: Gerald Mitchell and Wife: Monica Burris-Sonnier-O’Neil.

He is survived by his: Mother: Patricia Jean Robinson O’Neil , Brothers: Vincent D. Harvey, Myron D. O’Neal and Wallace Thompson, Sisters: Marilyn Harvey , Cornetta Harvey, Dionne Harmon, Penny Citizen, Ellana Modelist and Karen Modelist. Children: Tamika Jones, Ashley O’Neil, Patricia Taquone O’Neil, Brittney Carr and Jonathan Burris.  Grandchildren: Lennus Richard, Aubryanne Jones, IJena Wooley, Zedarius Jones, De’Niya Kobbins, Qunicy Jones, Quinton Jones Jr, Emory Nathaniel Griffin, Aaliyah Sams, Alona Sonnier, Alyssa Carr and Aja Carr, Jayla Burris, Karson Burris and A’Dyn Burris . Along with great aunts, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at TwiLight Cemetery in LaPorte.
