Dorothy Joan Fitzhenry

Dorothy Joan Mize Fitzhenry, 89, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, in Baytown.

Dorothy was born September 29, 1933, in Baytown, to parents; John James Mize and Ora Pearl Mize, a former resident of Northshore, and has resided in Dayton for the past 43 years.  She was a homemaker and service project volunteer for Shiloh Ministries.  Dorothy also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.

Mrs. Fitzhenry was preceded in death by her parents, son:  Miki Lynn Fitzhenry, brothers:  Melvin and W.R. Mize, and sisters:  Ilene Bishop and Evelyn Jennings.  She is survived by her husband of 74 years:  Calvin T. Fitzhenry, daughter:  Kathie Ulmar and husband Rev. Michael, son:  Keith Fitzhenry and wife Connie, sister:  June Casey, grandchildren:  Lycia Schreickise and husband Brad, Monica McNeil and husband Carey, Holly Murray and husband Ryan, Aubrey Fitzhenry and wife Bailey, Jake Ross and wife Tiffanie, Carl Turner and wife Meghann, great-grandchildren:  Daniel Schreickise and wife Kaylin, Emily Schreickise, Destini Campbell, Grant McNeil and wife Rachel, Pierce Turner, Hudson Ross, Carson Murray, Evelyn Fitzhenry, and Brendon McNeil, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
