Donald McCree Plante

Donald M. “Don” Plante, 71, of Liberty, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Baytown.

Don was born May 2, 1952 in Baytown, to parents; Ernest J. and Ruby Alice Williams Plante, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Liberty for the past seven years.  He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, veteran of the US Air Force, and a HVAC technician for Young AC.  Don also enjoyed animation, gardening, cooking, and will be remembered as a jack of all trades.

Mr. Plante was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years:  Sandy Whitley Plante, daughters:  Ann Brown, Sammy Marziale and husband Patrick, and Donna Gibson, sons:  Joseph Plante and Rusty Plante, brothers:  Darrell Plante, Wesley Plante, Clayton Plante and wife Lois, grandchildren:  Alex and Chris Marziale, Nick, Aiden, and Dylan Brown, and Emma, Sophie, and Max Denman, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
