Dona Pauline Archer Lane of Baytown, Texas, passed away January 13, 2018. Dona was born on March 31, 1930 in Claude, Oklahoma. She moved to Baytown in her early high school years. Graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, she was proud to have been a Lee Brigadier. Dona married the love of her life, Everette, on July 27, 1949.

Dona is preceded in death by: her parents Homer Paul Archer, and Susie Rena Archer; her loving husband David E. Lane; sister Margurette; her brothers Bill Miller, John D. Miller, Calvin Miller, George Archer, and James Archer.

She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Lane Mitchell and husband James; her son David G. Lane and wife Patty; her sister Frances Archer Baldridge and husband George; her brother Alvin Ray Archer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dona was lovingly cared for by the caregivers at Swan Manor for the last two years. She will be missed by her good friends and all who knew her.

The family will receive friends for a visitation held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 5pm. A graveside service will be held the following day, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00am at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, Texas.
