Diane Elaine Comeaux

Diane Elaine Mitchell Comeaux, 73, of Highlands, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Baytown.

Diane was born March 13, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina, to parents; Joseph, Jr. and Mary Miles Mitchell.  She was a graduate of Charlton Pollard High School, attended business college, managed restaurants, and was a cashier for Flying J before her retirement.  Diane also enjoyed watching football, crossword puzzles, and completing hook rugs.

Mrs. Comeaux was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband:  Dudley J. Comeaux, and siblings:  Grace “Bo Peep” Mitchell Loving, Grace Lewis, Esther Hughes, Kenneth Mitchell, and Carl Mitchell.  She is survived by her daughters:  Dina Mitchell, Dyleena Tristan and husband Benito, and Dallas Goss and husband Chad, brothers:  Bruce Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell, grandchildren:  Dinah, Dylnn “Deke”, Shanice, Anna, Robert, Chad, and Dameon, great-grandchildren:  Lyric, Lyncoln, Lyjah, Tobias, and Leia, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
