Deborah was the oldest born to Beatrice and the late Anderson Sullivan on August 9, 1959 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Deborah is preceded in death by maternal grandparents. Deborah was united in marriage to Clinton Stewart, Sr. to whom she was a devoted wife.
Deborah Ann Stewart was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a favorite aunt, a special cousin, admirable friend and a faithful servant to God. She will always be remembered for her unwavering faith in God and her beautiful smile that captured our hearts. Deborah experienced a long and spiritual relationship with the Lord, where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown, Texas. Deborah was a graduate of French High School, class of 1977.
She was a Phlebotomist Supervisor for Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed shopping, home decorating, planning weddings and parties and most of all spending time with her family. Deborah will always be remembered for her contagious smile that would light up any room.
Deborah enriched the lives of all those who knew her. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Clinton Stewart, Sr.; mother, Beatrice and Anderson Sullivan, sister, Michelle Pickens; brother, William Sullivan; daughters, Schieta “Kita” Martin (Kris), Schenicka “Nicka” Martin (Eric), Shannon “Muffy” Martin, and Vermeka Augustus; son, Sherman Martin Jr.; step-sons, Clinton Stewart Jr. and Jonathan Stewart; mother-in-law, Betty Stewart; Deborah cherished her thirteen (13) grandchildren and her three (3) great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly.
