David Wayne Hayes

David Wayne Hayes, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend, went to be with the Lord, January 19, 2024 at his residence.

David was born December 14, 1960, in Sherman, Texas, to parents; Kenneth and Dorothy Helms Hayes, a former resident of LaPorte and has resided in Crosby for 23 years.  He worked in the medical field all his adult life as an operating room technician, surgical specialist, and doctor liaison, and so much more.  David was a loyal employee.  He was a talented artist and loved music.  He loved spending time with family and he always lit up any room with his sense of humor and contagious laughter. 

Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by parents:  Kenneth and Dorothy Helms Hayes, sister:  Tanya Thompson.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years:  Glynda Perry Hayes, sons:  Daniel Hayes and wife Mary, Michael Hayes and wife Stephanie, and Christopher Hayes and wife Michele, Six grandchildren:  Braedon Hayes, Shayne Hayes, Ashlynn Stegall, Sara Hayes, Bella Hayes, and Olivia Hayes, Two great-grandchildren:  Hudson and Jackson Hayes, sister:  Tami Hayes, brothers:  Rick Hayes and Clifton Hayes, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His infectious and loving personality will be missed, by all who have met him and known him.  Words cannot express the loss felt by his loved ones and extended family.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., with celebration of his life until 8 p.m., March 16, 2024, at The Barn at Four Pines Ranch, at 21101 FM 2100, Crosby, Texas 77532.
