Cynthia A. Phillip

Cynthia A. Mitchell Phillip, 76, of Baytown, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at The Woodlands Memoral Herman Hospital.

Cynthia was born June 30, 1944 in Grenada, to parents; Ralph Mitchell and Eliza McBurnie, a former resident of Trinidad and St. Croix, and has resided in Baytown since 1977.  She was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.  Cynthia also enjoyed pottery and was well loved for her cooking.

Mrs. Phillip was preceded in death by her parents and her son Danavan Phillip.  She is survived by her sons:  Brian Phillip, Dexter Phillip, and Kenrick Phillip, grandchildren:  Richard Bothun, Marissa Hite, Kendra Phillip, Dexter Phillip, Jr., Lyric Phillip, Damaniq Phillip, Meagan Phillip, Bryana Phillip, Dezmond Phillip, Kilvain Phillip, Jordan Phillip, Danavan "Eli" Phillip, great-grandchildren:  Brian, Alyssa, Aliya, Aria, and Alivia, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary service at 6 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel ( Live streaming access below obituary and rosary details ).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Baytown, (service will also be also held at Holy Family Catholic Church-facebook live) with interment following at St. Martin de Porres Cemetery.
