Cletus Sheppard

Cletus Devon “Clete” Sheppard, 77, of Baytown, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, in Baytown.

Clete was born November 25, 1942 in Lafe, Arkansas, to parents; J.D. and Bettie Louise Hooker Sheppard, and has been a lifelong resident of Baytown.  Mr. Sheppard was a veteran of the US Navy, retired owner of Sheppard Air and Heat, former salesman for Stefani Distributing, real estate investor, and member of St. John’s Catholic Church.  He also enjoyed all types of fishing and his many trips to his Lake Livingston lake house.

Mr. Sheppard was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years:  Barbara Boudloche Sheppard, children: Cletus Sheppard, Jr., Terri Sheppard Vaughn, Kim Sheppard Brecht and husband David, Nathan Sheppard and wife Susan, and stepson: Dane Listi, brother: Glenn Sheppard and wife Barbara, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and special thanks to Kim Saunders for her help and support.

Memorial services for Mr. Sheppard will be held at a later date.
