Christopher (Chris) McQueen passed away unexpectedly, at his home, on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Chris was born on February 6, 1970, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Randi McQueen (Jovanovich) and the late Thomas D. McQueen. His stepfather, Jeff Jovanovich, came into his life in 1983.
Chris spent his early years in Hamilton. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and getting into mischief with his favorite cousins, Eddie and Joey. He leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Hamilton area.
In 1981 Chris and his Mother decided to move to Baytown, Texas. It didn't take long for Chris to call Texas his home. He was always proud to say that he was a Texan. He was one of those folks that "got here as soon as he could".
Chris graduated from Sterling High School in 1988 and attended Lee College. In 1992 he married the former Kim Cole. Their marriage produced the two loves of his life, his daughters, Morgan and Madison. Chris was always ready to talk about his daughters and was so proud of each of their accomplishments. His proudest moment came when his three little grandsons were born. He loved being their "PeePaw". He shared his love of movies with Jude, his love of cars with Smith, and had recently been teaching Henry how to ride a skateboard.
Chris was a kind, loving, and beautiful soul. His good nature and funny personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris leaves his loving daughters, Morgan McQueen (fiancé, Cody Broz), and Madison Abshier (husband, Josh Abshier). Grandsons, Jude Edwards, Smith Broz, and Henry Abshier. Mother and Stepfather, Randi & Jeff Jovanovich, and many other family members and friends.
