Christine Margaret Hayes

Christine M. Kunkel Hayes, 79, of Baytown, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021, in Baytown.

Christine was born March 8, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, to parents; Thomas Michael and Margaret Alice Glenn Kunkel.  She was a high school graduate and manager in food services.

Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her parents, sister:  Carolyn Kunkel, brother:  James Kunkel, grandchildren:  Emma Jacobson, Oliver Rodriguez, niece:  Mary Watkins-Kunkel, and Jason Kunkel.  She is survived by her daughters:  Linda Martinez, Jennifer Loney, and Maria Baruch, son:  Joe Streible, sister:  Kathy Kunkel, brothers, Art Kunkel, Thomas Kunkel, Chuck Kunkel, and Kevin Kunkel, grandchildren:  Alice, Veronica, Sal, Laura, Amanda, Nicole, Gene, Jonathan, Mario, Kameron, and Ava, 23 great-grandchildren, and many loved extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021, at the Jenkins Park Community Center, in Baytown.
