Casey Lyn Morris Ben, 47, of Devers, TX went home to be with our Heavenly Father Monday, January 18, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Casey was born October 26, 1973 in Pasadena, TX to Carl and Edana Morris. She was a graduate of Broadway Baptist Academy and received her associate degree from San Jacinto College. She absolutely loved her work as the secretary of the Early Childhood Center for the Barbers Hill Independent School District. She loved each child that came through the doors of her school as well as every one of her coworkers.

More than anything, Casey loved spending time with her family. She loved every child that she came in contact with and they loved her right back. She also enjoyed listening to her Christian music while mowing her 10 acres of land.

Casey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mollie “Marbeth” Hutson, Melvis “Bud” Morris, and Mozelle “Tonie” Morris; father-in-law Hubert Ben; and mother-in-law Beverly Ben. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jerry Ben; her son, Brady Ben and wife Ashley; her daughter, Kensey Ben; her parents, Carl and Edana Morris; her sister, DeAnna Ben and husband Stephen; her nieces (bonus kids), Brooke Farmer and husband Kyle, Kaylee Ben, Chelsey Ben, Karlie Ben, and Kinley Ben; great-niece (granddaughter), Avery Grace Farmer; as well as numerous other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Devers.
