Carol A Guy

Carol A. “Nanny” Alley Guy, 80, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Baytown.

Carol was born July 24, 1940 in Houston, to parents; Willie Earnest and Rose Pechanec Alley, and has been a lifelong resident of the Baytown area.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, graduated from Lee College, attended Sam Houston State Teachers College and graduated from the University of Houston. She was a member of the Cedar Bayou Garden Club.  Through her career, Carol was an administrative employee at NASA, a substitute teacher for GCCISD, and a homemaker.  She also enjoyed travel, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Guy was preceded in death by her parents and husband:  Marvin Lee Guy.  She is survived by her sons:  Kevin Guy and wife Jana and Gary Guy and wife Tiffany, grandchildren:  Allie Guy Archer and husband Chase, Katie Guy, Zoe Guy, Oliver Guy, and Willie Guy, cousin:  Beverly Kennedy, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Cedarcrest Cemetery Pavilion in Baytown.
