Brittany Janae Sufak was born November 19, 1994, to Daphne and Dan Sufak. She graduated from Goose Creek Memorial High School, where she excelled on the varsity volleyball and track teams. A gifted athlete, she also participated in USA Track (Warp Speed), Junior Olympics Track, and club volleyball (Thunder).
Brittany enriched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and fun-loving spirit. She had a special way with children and animals, and they enthusiastically returned her affection. Brittany will be fondly remembered as full of energy, fun to be around, and a great teammate. She loved spending time with family and friends, and fishing with her boyfriend Okay’l. Brittany had an infectious laugh and became everyone’s BFF. She and her twin Briana were inseparable. Brittany’s final act of generosity was as a Life Gift Donor.
She leaves to cherish in memory her parents Daphne and Dan Sufak; twin sister Briana; brother Cory; grandparents Catherine and the late Chester Smith, Marian (Dennis) Sadowski, and Robert Sufak; aunts and uncles Chester Smith Jr., AnnJanette (Briggs) Jackson, Troy (Tanisha) Arceneaux, Craig Arceneaux, Kristen (Shane) Chavez, and Jacki Sufak; nephews Trayson Vallaire and Maddox Anderson; a host of great aunts, great uncles, and cousins; and countless dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at the Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.
