Blanca Estela Rivera, 49, of Baytown, TX went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was a loving wife and devoted mother to not only to her children but also to her precious dogs Lola, Shakira, and Andy. Everyone that knew her loved her cooking and were witnesses to her generous heart. She would always help others in any way she could.  She wasn’t a complicated woman, the simple things in life are what brought her the most joy.  She was an inspiration to her family and all that were luck enough to have known her.    

Blanca was preceded I death by her father, Deciderio Cerda; Brothers, Saul Cerda and Deciderio Cerda Jr.; father-in-law, Evaristo Rivera- Esquivel; and her beloved dog Lola.

She is survived by her Husband of 34 years, Evaristo Rivera; Daughter, Melissa Rivera; Son, Evaristo Rivera Jr.; Mother, Maria Cerda; Sisters, Nancy Cerda, and Rocio Nereida-Cerda;

Brothers, Rigoberto Cerda, and Wife Alejandra, and Noe Osvaldo Cerda. Blanca is also survived by Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Serving the family as pallbearers is Evaristo Rivera, Evaristo Rivera Jr., Rigoberto Cerda, Christopher Bruno, Noe Cerda, and Saul Cerda Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10am in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  Interment will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
