Bernis W. "B.W." Short Sr

Bernis W. “B.W.” Short, Sr., 82, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Baytown.

B.W. was born October 5, 1936 in Baytown, to parents; Jimmie and Joye Horn Short, and was a lifelong resident of Baytown.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a retired manager for O’reilly Auto Parts.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting competitions.

Mr. Short was preceded in death by his father:  Jimmie Short, mother:  Joye Horn Roston, wife:  Billie L. Sikes Short, sons:  B. Wayne Short, Jr. and Jonas Short, daughter:  Wanda White, and son-in-law:  David Wagnon.  He is survived by his daughter:  Charlotte Wagnon, grandchildren:  Chad Malone, Cindy Ramos, Matt Yates, Crystal Brown, Angel Oxford, Staci White, James White, Wade Short, Samantha Short, Donald Short, Amanda Wilborn, numerous great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Cedarcrest Cemetery, at 3010 Ferry Rd., in Baytown.  Services are under the direction of Crespo & Jirrels in Baytown.
