Barbara Lee Nesselrode

Barbara Lee Morris Nesselrode passed away to her heavenly home on May 3, 2023.

She was born in her grandmother's home in Bronson, Texas on November 24, 1930. She graduated from high school in Devers, Texas before moving to Baytown with her family where she met her husband Jack Lewis Nesselrode. She and Jack attended Lee College before going to the University of Houston.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her beloved Jack Lewis Nesselrode, and two sons Michael Lewis Nesselrode and Brian Douglas Nesselrode, and her parents Homer and Christine Morris.

She is survived by her sister Frances Helm, her daughter Sheryl Adams and husband William (Bill), a son Gregory Nesselrode, daughter-in-law Tricia Nesselrode, grandchildren Keith Adams and wife Marie, Tim Adams and wife Sarah, Kristen Tuck, Jenni Dodson and husband Larry, and Drew D Nesselrode and wife Drew A.,  great grandchildren Jacob Adams and wife Grace, Kaitlyn Adams and fiancé Hagen Sopher, Amanda Brand and fiancé Kyle Kay, Emily Adams, Joshua Dodson, Kolt Dodson, Presleigh Dodson, Kylie Nesselrode, Kaelyn Nesselrode, Kamryn Nesselrode, Grady Adams, and one great, great grandchild Melody Ann Adams and many cousins and nieces and nephews

Barbara and her Jack enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. in their travel trailer.  They loved to fish and look for antiques.  One of her favorite things was to look for fall leaves and bring home a rock from each place they stopped.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School, was a member of W.M.U., helped with Vacation Bible School, bereavement and more.

Barbara is missed greatly already.  She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
