Babe Alvin Yancy

Passed away at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown Tx. At 5:36 pm on June 29th 2021.  Babe was born in Ozona Tx to William Hugh Yancy and Ida Mae Yancy.  Babe Yancy enjoyed working for Addie Floyd at Trestles Condominiums from 1998 to 2016 and retired, they remained great friends.  Babe Alvin Yancy (aka Speedy) will be remembered by many of the children that he taught to skate at Skate Center in Odessa Tx, the endless cups of coffee at PoJo’s with friends. He loved the Holidays and playing with his grandchildren and then great grandchildren. He enjoyed being around all animals, he even cared for strays best he could. He also enjoyed old movies and music Elvis being his favorite. He was a kind and gentle man with a big heart and will be missed by many.  He is proceeded by his children Jonathan Ensor of Lubbock Tx, Alecia Delozier of Mont Belvieu Tx, his grandchildren Amber Littman in Pearl City HI, Ashley Brooker in New Caney Tx, Brittney Yancy in Odessa Texas, and his great grand children William Mitchell, Landon Yancy, John Littman, and Vincent King.
