Almanzor DeLaGarza

Almanzor De La Garza., 64, of Baytown, passed away at a hospital in Houston on Friday, May 11, 2018.  He was born in Heroica Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 22, 1954, to Almanzor Del La Garza and Josefina Davila. Mr. Garza retired after working in maintenance as a repairman.  Besides spending time with his loving family, he enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Garza is preceded in death by his parents. Almanzor and Josefina De La Garza and Emilio Zamora.  He is survived by his wife, Francisca Irma Yarritu; son, Juan De Dios De La Garza and Almanzor De La Garza III; brothers, Juan Zamora and Ruben Zamora; grandchildren, Juan De Dios De La Garza, Jr., Vanessa De La Garza, Alexis De La Garza, Simon De La Garza, Brianna De La Garza and Joel De Dios De La Garza; five great grandchildren; and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Juan Zamora, Ruben Zamora, Almanzor De La Garza III, Juan De Dios De La Garza, Juan De Dios De La Garza and Simon De La Garza.
