Albert "Rene" Almendarez

Albert “Rene” Almendarez, 52, of Pasadena, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Houston.

Rene was born July 18, 1969 in Houston, to parents; John Almendarez and Josephine Medina, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Pasadena for the past year.  He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and owned and operated Double A. Construction.  Rene also enjoyed spending time with his family, swimming, and barbecues.

Mr. Almendarez was preceded in death by his father:  John Almendarez, mother:  Josephine Medina Quiroga, and brother:  Joel Almendarez.  He is survived by his wife of two years:  Terri Knight Almendarez, children:  Taylor Rene Almendarez and Lorenzo Almendarez, siblings:  Belinda Almendarez, Johnny Almendarez and wife Linda, Victor Almendarez and wife Kerri, and Suzanne Yepez and husband Eloy, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
