Sara Adaid Martinez, 18, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018 at Bayshore Medical Hospital.  She was surrounded by Family and Friends.

Sara was born January 23, 1999 in UTMB Galveston to Felipe Martinez and Adaid Martinez.  She graduated from Channelview High School.  While in High School she was Mellophone Section Leader and also played the French Horn.  Sara was very active in school and enjoyed help out where ever she could.  Sara took all AP classes.  Sara loved all kinds of animals and especially her dogs Becky and Yori.

Sara also loved helping the community.  She was a volunteer when her school was converted into a shelter during Hurricane Harvey.  Sara also helped by donating blood.  Sara enjoyed being with her Family and being with her Friends.  She loved to sing and make everyone feel special.  She brought the beauty of youth and life into everyone life.  Sara was a very special young lady who filled everyone’s heart with love and joy. 

She is survived by her parents, Felipe Martinez and Adaid Martinez.  Her brothers Samir Martinez, Felipe Martinez, Jr and her sister Elise Martinez.
