Michael “Mike” Erwin Arnett, age 73, of Baytown, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Mike was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on February 9, 1944. He lived in Emmett, Arkansas until high school graduation. He married Marie in 1964 on February 9. He worked for several construction companies such as Delta, Mundy, Erbauer, Parsons, Tellepsen, and Tepsco. His work took him and his family to live in Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas. He also owned his own companies. Mike Arnett homes was a custom home building company and MM&K was a commercial construction company. His hobbies included woodworking, classic cars and restoring them. He was a member of Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club. Mike attended the Cedar Bayou Baptist Church here in Baytown for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also was a kind man who enjoyed helping others.

Mike is preceded in death by: his parents Lolita Hood Arnett, and Albert Erwin Arnett; his sisters Joyce Ann Arnett, Minnie Ruth Wright and husband Charles, Wanda Jane Ward and husband John; his nephew Johnny Lee Ward; and grandson Cody’s wife Chrissie Barlow.

He is survived by his wife Della “Marie” Hamm Arnett; daughter Kimberly Arnett Watson and husband Matt; grandsons James Randall Arnett and his special friend Carley Cates, Cody Wayne Watson; brother Albert Eugene Arnett and wife Darlene; plus, numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club. The family will receive friends and family for a visitation held this Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Crespo and Jirrels from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club www.bayshorefinerides.net
