Jorge Alberto Chapa Gonzalez, 29, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on July 4, 2017.  He was born in Mexico on May 29, 1988, to Ismael De Leon and Martha Delia Chapa.

Jorge is preceded in death by his grandparents, Maria De La Cruz Gonzalez and Petronilo Chapa.  He is survived by his mother, Martha Delia Chapa De Leon and father, Ismael De Leon; brother, Ismael De Leon Chapa; sisters, Maritza De Leon and Melissa De Leon; son, George Jr. Chapa; wife, Maria Guadalupe Chapa; aunts, Soraida Chapa, Claudia Maria Chapa, Mirna Chapa, and Magdalena Chapa; uncles, Jose Humberto Chapa, Jose Maria Chapa and Ruben Lozano; and numerous other friends and family members.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  at

Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Daniel Cantu of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Baytown officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be José Trinidad “Trino” Valadez, Inocencio “Chencho” Herrera, Juan “Chachis” De Leon, Arturo “Raton” Del Bosque, Josue "Turtle" Valladares, Jose De Jesus “Nino” Galvan Gomez, and Ismael “Isma” De Leon Chapa.
