Emmanuelle Ortiz, 27, of Baytown, TX passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017. 

Emmanuelle was a great son, father, brother, and uncle; he was a true friend to those who had the opportunity to know who he really was as a person.  His daughter, Sophia, is the love of his life, and he will be truly missed.  He was a member and volunteer of The Life Church in Baytown.

Emmanuelle enjoyed playing basketball and being a church volunteer.  He had a passion for cutting hair.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Prudencio Salinas and Fidencia Serna Salinas, paternal grandmother, Paula Garcia; a brother, David Hernandez; uncles, Patrick Amador, and Horace Price.

Emmanuelle is survived by a daughter, Sophia Aida Ortiz; his partner, Shirena Foster; his mother, Fidencia Salinas; his father, Ramon Ortiz Garcia; sisters, Noemi Hernandez, and Ambrosia Juarez; brothers, Jose Hernandez, Carlos Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Jr., and Khristian Ortiz; 11 nieces, 9 nephews, 3 great-nephews, 1 great-niece; numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

The family will receive Friends on Wednesday and Thursday, March 1 & 2, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the Chapel at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at Crespo & Jirrels at 1:00pm on Friday, March 3, 2017.  Interment will follow immediately at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520.

Serving the family as Pallbearers will be Carlos Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Jr., Khristian Ortiz, Khristopher Juarez, Adrian Sanchez, and Chase Garcia; as well as Honorary pallbearers, Jose Hernandez, and Keith Vazquez.
