Clifford Lee Willis, 67, of Baytown, passed away on Saturday December 2, 2017 in Baytown Texas. 

Cliff was born on April 26, 1950 in Mexia and has been a lifelong resident of Baytown.  He is a 1968 graduate of Ross S Sterling High School where he was a member of the choir and drama club. After graduation he joined the US Air Force to serve his country during the Vietnam conflict.  During his service he was a mess hall cook and later a C130 load master.  Upon returning home Cliff found his passion in pipefitting.  He later went on join the fire protection industry where he retired after 40 years due to health issues.  Cliff introduced fire protection careers to several men that went on to do wonderful things with the doors he helped open for them.

Only two lifetime passions outside his family ever took up Cliff’s time – motorcycles and books.  His family believed if he could do both at the same time he would. 

Cliff is proceeded in death by his parents father Clovis C. Willis, mother Johnnie Dagenhart and stepfather Ronald Dagenhart.  He is survived by his wife Karron Willis; Stepmother Frankie Willis; children Jonathan Willis and wife Christine, Chris Clements and wife Yvonne, Dana Scott and husband Jeremy; grandchildren Chelsea Scott-Martinez and husband Abiel, Zachary Scott, Cody Clements, Jacey Willis, Hailey Clements, Cade Crockett and baby on the way Chloe Willis; Sisters Kelle Willis Correa, Suzie Willis, Karen and husband Phil Greenawalt; Brothers Scott Troy Dagenhart and wife Crystal, Drew Willis and wife Sherrie, Scott Turner and wife Donna, Mark Turner, and Jimmy Turner Jr. and wife BJ.  As well as nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date, at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
